Lagona Divers TEC proudly present:
2nd Lagona Divers – TEC cruise
July 4 -11, 2026
Last year, our two in-house technical Instructor Trainers, Andy and Kerstin, had the idea: what could be better than a week of technical diving at some of the Red Sea’s most spectacular sites? The result was our very first liveaboard trip designed specifically for technical divers — and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
Because it was such a success, we’re doing it again! In 2026, we’re inviting you to join us for the second edition of our technical liveaboard. Whether you dive open circuit or closed circuit, whether you’re just stepping into extended range or already exploring hypoxic trimix depths, this trip is made for you. Expect a week packed with fantastic dives, stunning locations, and the chance to connect with like-minded technical divers — both familiar faces from last time and new friends to come.
Be part of the next level of Lagona Divers – TEC!
Where do we go?
For our second trip, we’ve chosen to combine the breathtaking reefs of the Straits of Tiran with the world-famous protected area of Ras Mohamed. This northern itinerary offers something truly special: vibrant coral gardens, dramatic walls, and an incredible abundance of marine life. Highlights include Shark Reef, Yolanda Reef, and the iconic Jackson and Thomas Reefs.
Of course, the focus will also be on technical diving highlights. We’ll carry out decompression dives on the famous wreck of the SS Thistlegorm — one of the most artifact-rich wrecks in the Red Sea. If conditions allow, we’ll also dive the wreck of the Lara at 60 meters. And for those ready to explore deeper, Thomas Canyon awaits — a spectacular site suitable for technical dives from 45 down to 100 meters. Add to that plenty of exciting dives on the reefs of Ras Mohamed, and you can look forward to another week of world-class technical diving.
Please be aware the dive sites and areas mentioned in the itinerary are not guaranteed. They are subject to change based on weather conditions and are at the discretion of the captain. This is to ensure we provide the best sightings and activities possible during your dive experience while also prioritising your safety.
Let’s have a look at some highlights we’ll visit:
How do we go?
For this technical Liveaboard only the best is good enough! You will be experiencing this trip on the MV Legend II which is specialised to host every need of a technical diver. This 33m long yacht has space for 22 divers in 11 cabins and offers full rebreather support, a decompression trapeze, booster pumps, technical gases and is the only Red Sea Safari boat equipped with a diver lift – meaning no feeling the heavy weight of your gear as you ascend back up onto the boat!
For maximum comfort and space, we offer a special rate for single occupancy cabins! Treat yourself to the luxury of extra space, comfortable sleeping and a private bathroom.
However, we will only occupy the boat on this trip with a maximum of 18 guests instead of 22.
