IANTD Tek Sidemount Instructor

The IANTD Tek Sidemount Instructor Program is designed to develop qualified instructors in the necessary procedures, knowledge and skills to safely dive Tek OW SM.

Prerequisites IANTD Tek Sidemount Instructor :

  • Min. 18 years old
  • Must be qualified as an:
  • IANTD Advanced EANx Instructor higher or equivalent
  • IANTD Tek Open Water SM Diver or equivalent
  • 50 logged dives and at least 25 dives on Tek OW SM System to be used in the class

Duration:

  • Evaluation of the candidate presentation of no less than 2 confined water skills and 4 open water skills
  • Written theory exam with a minimum score of 80%
  • Min. 2 dives over the course of 2 days
  • must have stress management as part of the curriculum
