IANTD Essentials Diver in Dahab

The IANTD Essentials Diver program is designed for divers who wish to increase their skill competency by further developing their diving skills to be safer, more comfortable, and more efficient in the water while expanding the divers basic diving skills according to their current certification and to take part in other technical diving programs

This Course can be combined with the IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver course.

Prerequisites IANTD Essentials:
  • Certified as an IANTD Recreational Essential Diver (Tek Lite Essential for the Tek Essential Diver) or equivalent
  • Min. 15 years old (with a parent or guardian authorization) or
  • Min. 18 years old
Duration:
  • A minimum of 120 minutes of dive time developing water skills.
  • The program must include one confined water session and can include up to 4 open water sessions
  • No dives may be conducted to depths greater than diver deepest certification level.

NOTE: If not previously qualified as Recreational Essentials Diver, the course shall include a minimum of 360 minutes of dive time developing water skills.

NOTE: If not previously qualified as Tek Lite Essentials Diver, the course shall include a minimum of 240 minutes of dive time developing water skills.
